A Few Thoughts About Trying to Learn Spanish on CD

What is the best way to learn Spanish Quickly?

At the end of this post, I will tell you the very best way that I have found to learn Spanish, French, German, Japanese or any other language for that matter!

Don't you hate it when everyone else in the room speaks a language that you don't? If you have ever been in that situation, I?m sure you remember how uncomfortable it was.

But no more! Personally, I would like to learn Spanish. Let's look at the different ways you can learn Spanish.

Now, how can I go about doing this? Basically there are 4 different ways to learn Spanish from the comfort of your own home.

1. Read a book
2. Learn Spanish CD
3. Use a computer software

Let's look at each one of these options.

Reading a book is great, but there is no way for you to learn how to pronounce words properly. You can see what the words look like, but books cannot convey inflection and expression.

Another great option is to buy a learn Spanish CD. The great thing is that they are inexpensive, usually between $15 - $50, and can be a great introduction to the language. You are able to hear how the words and phrases are pronounced and speak along.

The downside of a learn Spanish CD is that it can only hold so much information. There is no way you can learn very much by just having one or two CD?s. In addition, if you are a visual learner, it will be harder for you to learn if you cannot see pictures or diagrams.

An alternative to a learn Spanish CD is you could use computer software to learn to speak Spanish. This could range from software that you actually install on your computer or a website that you access at your convenience.

Computer software is usually inexpensive and is the closest thing to learning from a Spanish speaking person. Depending on how complete the program is, you can learn much, much more than you could on a learn Spanish CD.

With all this being said, what is the absolute best way to learn Spanish? Go and live in a Spanish speaking country of course!!

Don't have the time, money or financial ability to do that? Then it seems like computer software would be the best alternative. But don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.

Here is a great program that I found. The best thing that I like about it is that it tests not only your written comprehension, but also your verbal comprehension. I have found that the hardest part about learning a new language is not remembering the meanings of the words, it is understanding the language when someone is speaking to me at full speed!

They have a good sale going on for this computer program and it doesn't cost much more than a learn spanish CD, but I don't know how long it is going to last.
